in software product design. He was the founding technical employee of

in the trade press. Prior to that, Marc was at Ligature and Ziff-Davis
Interactive. In the early 1990s, he was the VP of R&D at Faxon Research,
an online database provider. Prior to that, he developed text extraction
technologies for Access Technology/Compuserve and earlier in his career,
he worked for Softbridge Group and IDC. Marc holds a Ph. D. in Cognitive
